    Glad you've joined the forum.

Under Windows, you can use Intel Fortran to call the Win32 C API (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/docs/fortran-compiler/developer-guide-reference/2023-0/call-windows-api-routines.html#GUID-7F8A459D-FC2F-4C3E-969F-F7724DF35C9E) (including its full Hungarian-notation splendor ), or use QuickWin, its console-style wrapper (originally a Microsoft offering (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QuickWin)). Available project categories are described here (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/docs/fortran-compiler/developer-guide-reference/2023-0/understand-project-types.html#GUID-A493DA61-6CF7-4C18-A1E8-45DE8EB681B7).

The Intel Fortran Compiler forum (https://community.intel.com/t5/Intel-Fortran-Compiler/bd-p/fortran-compiler) is a place to ask for more detailed guidance.
