I want to draw trigonometric curves, fractals and parametric plots on screen using Kotlin

I want to draw trigonometric curves, fractals & parametric plots using Kotlin. I've seen Let's Plot mentioned. Before Basic turned into Visual Basic, I wrote software to draw parametric curves. Seeing those equations appear on screen was pretty neat.

I'd like to do that in Kotlin now. I want a window containing buttons & text fields where I enter X & Y values & angles in degrees(not radians) & watch the drawing appear.

Presumably a plain Kotlin installation doesn't draw equations. Some facility would have to supply the window, buttons & text fields. Java FX is an option. I believe something online said Java FX also requires CSS & HTML. Would Compose let me build that window & its controls?

Dart is what Flutter uses.

I'm lost! Accomplishing this shouldn't require me to study a bunch of languages. I'm very much a KISS supporter(not referring to the band!).

What approach would you recommend?

Using Compose seems to involve quite a bit of code - Gradle, XML, and so forth.

Would Swing or Java FX produce much the same outcome? I've seen KotlinFX mentioned.
