The last year I consulted JavaScript documentation was 1996. I'd like an educational course covering the “essential JavaScript and web concepts” that would let me work confidently with Elm and ports.
Not understanding the DOM has really held back my Elm work, and I can't tell what else I'm missing. :frowning:

MDN offers a curriculum covering a variety of core modules, including JavaScript Fundamentals (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/curriculum/core/javascript-fundamentals/). That seems like a reasonable place to begin.
